St David’s day and I’m in Wales. Sadly not for long as I’m travelling home today, no local eisteddfod to attend.
I moved back to Sheffield last September after a few years in Shrewsbury.
My house needs work to bring it up to scratch, so I’ve taken a job to pay for the work. TA in a local primary school, 830-330, it’s called full time but I’m home by 4 most days and no evening/weekend/holiday time prep so it feels easy so far.

Well, blip in the time of covid!!
Finally got a phone which can cope with more than one app at a time... so blip and photos mostly on same platform, look out for more entries than normal, and some back blips. Stay safe one and all.

No blip birthdays for ages, then two come at once, 4 years worth of blips, now a few weeks later 1500, and I’m still going strong.

Seems I made the break, and I'm in South America, Buenos Aires to be more precise. Weather is great, its a bit of a culture shock and teaching is poorly paid. 
Head-demons travel with you, so no escape from those, but maybe I'm tolerating them better away from the source of pain. some days better than others.

I'm not happy. I have all the freedom I could want and it's not what I want. I have friends, good ones, but I want community and family.
I'm looking for another job, abroad, for an adventure.

Another year on! My baby is going to be 18 in a few days time, how did that happen? Life is still throwing troubles my way, but the blessings outweigh them, usually.

23/10/2012 nearly my 51st birthday :)
Lots to celebrate recently, new house, new dog, new job, new life. Old friends, without whom I would not have survived my recent troubles.
I won't forget what you did.

I am still determined to be a positive influence on the world around me.  Reacting to hurtful things other people do with anger or by trying to get justice just doesn't work, but karma does.
Rainbows and waterfalls are the positive side of a wet Scottish holiday.
