There are two ways of cooking here at the house sit: electric as normal and a wood fired hob and cooker. I love using the latter. The fire is easy to get going, heats the hob quite quickly and looks cosy - the fire has a glass window. We haven't attempted to use the oven, to raise the heat would mean burning a lot more wood, we don't need the oven this week.
