Chihuahua

BIG NEWS!!  Krista phoned last night and could hardly tell us that...Dan proposed!  They're engaged!  She sounded so excited and happy.  On Monday, Dan went to talk to our daughter, son-in-law and Kalyn to ask if it would be okay if he proposed and of course they agreed.  R said that he was so nervous, he couldn't stop shaking.  They had to keep it a secret though, because he wasn't exactly sure when he would ask her.  Krista got home from the horse show in California on Tuesday.  On Wednesday afternoon, they went for a walk with a friend who was in on the secret, and Dan just couldn't wait any longer.  Krista gave me permission to include the proposal as an extra, taken by the friend, and a shot of the happy couple.  They're in no hurry to get married, maybe in a couple of years.  They seem so young...but then G and were married and had a baby at their age!  Very happy for them.  I blubbered when we were talking to Krista and have had a few more tears since.  :) Can't wait to have a visit and celebrate with them in person!
G went for a haircut today, and his barber has moved to a new location, so I went along because I hadn't been to that neighbourhood before.  I was lucky to come across this chihuahua for the weekly challenge of Dogs and decided to blip it instead of one of the extras in case I don't see another dog this week!
