Leaf at Land's End

The trip to the dealership went well.  M felt fine about driving, so I didn't get the chance to drive the electric car, but it was my first time riding in one!  So quiet.  She was worried that the battery wouldn't last until we got to town then worried that it wouldn't last to get her home, even though it was almost fully charged at the dealership.  I suppose that would be one disadvantage of the electric car - fine here on the island where there are a couple of charging stations that I'm aware of, but when you have to drive a distance and don't know where the stations are, I can understand being worried.
We had a good visit and interesting conversation on the trip to and from town and over lunch.  Her husband was being discharged from hospital this afternoon and luckily her daughter was available to pick him up.  M was anxious to get home and make sure he was settled in and doing okay.   Hopefully we'll have a chance to see him soon.
