West Mersea

Nipped down into Wells this morning to buy a road atlas, then packed the car up and my Mum and I set off about noon.  We took the scenic route, via the Cotswolds, and arrived in West Mersea about 7pm.  Long old journey!

Got installed in our hotel room (then I managed to lock myself out while going to get stuff out of the car - and Mum got stuck in the bathroom so couldn't let me in!  One of the staff came and let me back in and all was well.)  We were both too tired to go out for dinner, so I went out, took a few photos just down the road, and then bought various bits and pieces from Tesco Express, for a 'room picnic.'  Nice easy end to the day.
