The Harris

On a research visit to Preston for a forthcoming Superlative Walk, I visited the terrific Harris Museum and Art Gallery where, in addition to their permanent collection, several rooms were dedicated to the work of Martin Creed.

Also in Preston today, I passed a tiny jewellers; a pub with a politically incorrect name; a restoration project at the market; and the building where I worked from 1978 to 1983.
