Harvest Time
It's been very gusty today and of course it would be the day I had decided to fit the new garage roof (single-handed). Pretty worn out now, but the job is done and although there is still some flashing to do, the garage should be 95% dry.
Apart from the wind, the weather would have been great for working on a roof. It wasn't too hot and the sun was in and out all day, but mainly out. Although I'd rather it didn't, it can now rain and I won't be too cross.
Emma thought today would be ideal for harvesting her crop of carrots which she sowed in Spring. Very exciting pulling at the stalk to see what was beneath. She was still excited when she held her prize carrot high for a blip.
As she never eats much, this should keeps her in food for a few days. :)
