Whinning ways

I was up early again this morning to go on a Whinchat Survey training walk. The walk leader was able to find quite a few Whinchats for us, although they were a little elusive when it came to showing themselves. This one was singing for at least an hour but I managed only 2 shots of which this was the better one. I've put a photo of a much more obliging skylark fledgling in extras.
