A Bog with a View

As planned, I did the first of my 2 Breeding Bird Surveys for this year. It was cool but sunny. I didn’t see anything remarkable in the way of birds but it was a pleasant walk and the spring flowers, especially the bluebells and violets, were pretty spectacular. The point at which I took this photo was very, very boggy and I had to make quite a detour to continue my route.
