wildflowers-closing ceremony

Today A and I went for a walk and there were some beautiful wildflowers in such a variety of shapes, colours and sizes.

Tonight watching the highlights of the closing ceremony the centre stage reminded me of a huge wildflower. Beautiful, blazing, wild at heart and not to be tamed or constrained....rather like the athletes themselves.
A spectacular games and thank you Coldplay. I understand they were paid the grand sum of one pound to perform.

What on earth am I going to watch on telly from now on!
