Baby Birdie

I have been trying to identify this bird for two days. I believe this is an immature Lesser Goldfinch.  I'm fairly confident but the bill is confusing me a little. The confounding part is that the bill looks a bit curved and from what I have been able to determine, it shouldn't be.    Ah well, maybe it's just the angle.

If anyone has another opinion, please feel free to share.

Edit:  The opinion of a few people on whatbird.com believe this is an American Goldfinch.  I still have my doubts.  I'm not comfortable with that ID.
Looking back, I am positive that this is an immature Brown-crested flycatcher.
