Take A Little Off The Top, Please

The wind has calmed considerably today but it has been been fierce the last week or so. This is the carport of my mom's next door neighbor.

Smaller homes like this (and mine) have flat roofs. The tops are coated with a thick, white rubbery substance.  The side that faces the sun is on the back of the black. That means that wicked wind caught the left edge and completely flipped it over!

The bad news for the owners is that they are back in Colorado for the summer.
