Celebrity spotting!

Another day of two halves.

This morning we braved the showers to watch our local May Day parade. Baby L enjoyed the drums, watching the May Queen and all her girlies dancing by and then got very excited to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse! N took this photo of us while she waved at them and then proceeded to sign "cat" at them. To be fair, she wasn't taunting them, she just hasn't perfected the sign for "mouse" yet.

After her nap the day took a nasty turn when she vomited, her temperature sky-rocketed and she went floppy in my arms. We didn't need to think, we just bundled her into the car and shot back up to the hospital. They were brilliant - we think we were pretty much fast-tracked through as we'd been triaged and were in to see a doctor within half an hour. The doctor was amazing with her. He diagnosed another ear infection on top of the viral rash and infection she has still from when we were there two days ago. He prescribed some antibiotics. Once her temperature started to get under control we were released.

So frightening.
