Time for the last of the Action Man toys to go, thus the 'man himself'.

Never really sure why I enjoyed collecting Action Man in my youth except that I'm sure the military part of it was a pretty small factor. I suspect it was general fascination then, and now, really, with recreating miniature and/or alternate worlds. Hence the current model railway(s), and still enjoying things like lego; but also relaxing in fictional worlds in books and films.

Maybe the real world just contains too much hassle.

That said, the phone still hasn't rung. I guess we'll find out the state of things in the morning.
