All quiet on the work front. Went to the pub at lunchtime to celebrate a colleague's 25th birthday. A bit scary to discover he's only 4 years older than my son, and was born a couple of weeks before E and I married.

Karate tonight. Quite hard work as the Renshi's master (think: boss's boss) was present and looking good, fast and powerful was important tonight. I'll pour myself into the bath later.

Meanwhile, supping some red fairtrade wine from Morrisons - actually not bad (though the corresponding white was rubbish). Normally wildly overpriced, but seems to be on offer (half price at a fiver) on occasions, which is when I restock...
