Rubbish photo I'm afraid - there's not been time to do anything respectable the last couple of days, but It was a bit of a surprise to find a heron stalking the edge of the office pond when I arrived this morning.

There are (perhaps were) a fair number of fish in the pond.

It was a bit twitchy and I'd just the 'general purpose' lens of so this is rather overblown, but I don't have anything else.

Karate tonight, followed, unusually, by the pub as one of our number is off to university. We provided a few bruises for him to take with him.
