a study in texture

I'm not really a big fan of bees, but the birds aren't cooperating today so I took a few shots of the buzzing bush in front of our house.
I like this particular shot because it shows the many textures of a bee - the shiny translucent wings, the bristly legs, the hairy body, and my favorite - the punk hairdo between the eyes!
And the creamy yellow flower makes a nice backdrop.
