Almost there

Mrs TT came to help at the Salvation Army today although her day is usually a Monday.  It was a good job she did as it was busy in the cafe.  In the afternoon I set about rebuilding the clock I blipped yesterday.  It was as difficult as I had anticipated and I had to make extensive use of my notes and photos as the order of reassembly and the alignment of various gears and levers was critical.  More recent mechanisms are easier.  As with any technology there are advances, developments and simplifications.  It is always interesting to make these observations.  Anyway after four hours, I am nearly there.  I hit one snag which would have meant starting from the beginning again but I was able to rescue it.  My patience would have been sorely tried!
