In among the thyme

The morning was spent at the market and at the cafe on the square. After a few pleasantries with the fishmonger, I decided to push the boat out as it is the weekend, so tonight's dinner will be turbot and salmon, brandade (salt cod, parsley and garlic mash) and either spinach or asparagus followed by crème brulée or crème caramel. In the afternoon I went on a ridge walk above Vernet and admired the butterflies.  The swallowtails were particularly skittish and fluttered away each time I was about to press the shutter.  I finally managed two or three shots, one of which was sharper but I liked the context in this photo.
