Short cuts

It's been a busy day with one thing and another. The crusty bread and soup was delicious and waiting five hours for it to cook made it seem even more so. Returning from a dog walk it was just what was needed after a fairly chilly walk with hints of sunshine, rain and hail. The walk was slightly shorter than usual, cutting off part of the loop seemed a good idea to avoid the worst of the weather
Squeezing in extra walks before choir meant two contented dogs left snoozing in bed and toasting by the radiator. It's a dog's life! I'm sure I wouldn't get as much exercise without them, and the endless entertainment from watching their behaviour I wouldn't miss for anything.
I've again chosen the pencil effect on the settings, I'd really like to be able to sit and produce a sketch like this but I'm sure this skill would take years to perfect.
