Monday: Cathedral Grove

We left Tofino this morning to head back to Vancouver. The first three hours of the drive were lovely, and included a stop at the very lovely rainforest at Cathedral Grove.

The last two hours from Nanaimo were a bit tedious as the route is not that exciting and it was a bit busy. But it comes back to my mistake in ferry bookings - three hours Tofino to Nanaimo is just better than 5 hours from Tofino to Swartz Bay.

It was a great weekend away - a real peaceful tonic sigh great weather and lovely scenery.
