Sunday: Looking In

We have had the ultimate lazy day today and it's been fantastic. The weather was gorgeous so, in theory, we should have been out and about but, nope, we spent most of the day reading and, occasionally, dropping off on the settee. We have justified it with the fact that it's been quite busy of late and the next few weeks are also pretty busy.

We did have free tickets to go and see an ice hockey game tonight (Croatia vs. England) but I am afraid that our laziness levels were such that we even bailed on that.

So this was taken from our garden, looking in to home....

And all this reading means that I finished Jonathan Franzen's 'The Corrections' today. Much to my surprise, I loved it! My surprise stems from the fact that I don't really lean towards modern novels, but I really did enjoy this one.
