Top Road

Slept well, but woke up a few times, once we were up, we decided to get out for a decent walk, as it was actually dry out, first day for 4 days!

We walked into town, got a paper, had a coffee and sandwich in the cafe, then decided to go and explore a couple of areas up through town, where we havent ventured before.....just to have a longer walk really. Its amazing whats around........saw some lovely bungalows alongside a picturesque wooded area, walked around towards the racecourse too.....before we knew it, two and hour hours and 12,500 steps later, we arrived back home ;-)

We had half an hours rest, with a cuppa, then got out in the garden, managed to plant up the new thymes in the herb garden and three new alpines in the rockery. Hub transplated some more strawberries, and earthed up his potatoes. We did some weeding and general tidying.......all that was missing was sun sunshine :-/

Todays blip,is take. from our top road, "above" the farmers fields and the hills beyond......think it eill suffice for todays MM challenge.

Glad its not back to work for me tomorrow ;-)

Just off to watch Broadchurch now :-)
