Alreet Petal?!!!

Finally a beautiful sunny morning...typically after the easter break, for all those poor folk back to work today :-/

Up sharpish, breakfasted, dressed ready for Pilates...... its been way too long since we made it to class, so off to meet sis. Hub stayed home, happy to potter in the garden and a walk into town.

I had just parked up when sis text me to say she had to pop to their factory, as their office admin person was off sick and her hub needed some help with one or two things. I did Pilates, could tell Id. ot been for a while!!! then went to meet sis at her house.

When I got there, sis wasnt just there, so I grabbed my camera and went over the road to the field opposite, with lots of blossom trees in full bloom and snapped away happily for 15 minutes or so....... so here you have one said snap, for todays blip :-). Id just got back into the car to wait, when my phone beeped, a text from what I thought was one of the Doctors I used to work with in the NHS......hub and I had only been talking about him and his wife, saying we needed to get in touch to arrange a meet up, but the text was from his wife, telling me he had passed away on Sunday.....I can hardly believe it :-( My sis arrived just as I was reading this, and since this is the first time Ive seen her since she lost Bailey, it didnt take much to reduce me to tears........a sad day, RIP Marwan :-(

After I got changed, sis and I went out to do some shopping. I managed to find a lovely lacy knit silver grey cardigan Id been wanting to go with a dress for an evening wedding reception, yes that wedding(!) We had a toastie and coffee in Costa.....I mucked up the order, got medium instead of small coffees, so even with our extra shots, way to milky for our liking :-/ We had a quick stop off in M&S and Sainsburys before going back to sis's for a decent cuppa ;-)

The traffic wasnt too bad on my way home, made it in around 45 minutes.

We've had pan fried haddock in chilli butter jacket potatoe and cauliflower cheese for dinner......looks like a night in front of the tv tonight. Love Peter Kays Car Share :-)
