corso in nyons

We had a lovely Easter lunch today with leg of lamb and homemade chips! I also made a chocolate cake (see extra pics). Dad was there (for his birthday lunch) with Sarah and Marie-Claire. Elizabeth is in Lyon this weekend with her friend, Elula, to see Cirque du Soleil!

Then it was the Corso in Nyons in the evening. Pierre, Marius, and I had fun at the fairground (Marius slept for most of it)! Pierre even won us a cuddly toy :) Then it was Marius's first fireworks - they were brilliant although I hadn't thought about how loud they are! I had to cover the wee man's ears. He didn't even wake up though. The sling is an amazing thing!
