Southport Sunset
Spent today on the Sefton Coast, Merseyside. first stop was Formby NT Reserve. sadly no red squirrels and it doesnt look like there are going to be any for a while until the population recovers from the parapox virus. Had a long walk through the dunes and then back along the beach. The tide was in and the ships where going in and out of Liverpool Docks. Great Northern Diver spotted on the sea. Fantastic back lighting on the welsh hills which was worthy of a blip however driving home the sunset over Southport pier was glorious and won, Good job I took G9 as a backup today as 20D battery died on me again. Looks like a trip to the shop for a spare. Goodnight all.
