Marrofield

Another glorious day of sunshine and warmth.  It did cloud over from time to time, and then a cloudy evening. 

After breakfast, I was straight out the door with Sammy for a walk, and waiting for the washing machine to finish.  After lunch, me and Sammy went for a hike through the hills, before returning to do a shift in the pub.  I had a busy day with jolly customers.  I've had a fairly lazy evening at home, mam popped by for a cuppa.  Bedtime walk with Sammy later.

We headed north for our hike this afternoon.  Stopped in the Lang Kames, and hiked over the hills to this old croft houses.  There's not much left, just the fireplace and bits of walls.  What a lonely place, miles from any other houses, but plenty of sheep, and also some white mountain hares.  I do love to get away from it all, and clear the head :)  Taken at Marrofield, South of Voe.
