New Flats

It's been a lovely sunny day, warm too, and a breeze.  The wind is slowly picking up, and also clouded over.  Rain and gales due later!

It's been a day in the museum office.  I've fairly got through the Bobby Mowat collection.  I've scanned nearly 1600 photos, and still more to go but the end of the mountain is near.  Met mam at lunchtime, and we had a meeting to attend.  Walkies with Sammy this evening before the rain came, and then off to work in the pub later.

I took this photo tonight,  when out with Sammy.  I've blipped here earlier this year, it was the site of the peerie house that got demolished.  Now it's a construction site, and four new flats going up in place.  They've lost the character, but sure it'll be nice new homes for someone soon.  It's not taken long to fire up the kit, and interesting watching the progress.  Taken at Gibblestone Road, Lerwick.
