UFO

Unidentified floating object! This strange boulder looking thing appeared on Greatstone beach a couple of days ago according to a local blog. It now has coastguards tape around it, and I decided not to touch it. There have been a few theories, like pumice, palm oil, but nothing that really seems sensible.

We were walking Dog on the beach and I only had my phone with me, but managed a good capture of the bi plane that circled overhead before going into Lydd airport. I have put it as an extra, just cropped, no filters, the sky really was that blue.

In the morning took all 9 boxes of Mum's 'stuff' to the village hall in Boughton where auctions take place on the first Sunday of the month. Tomorrow, we will return to watch it 'go under the hammer'. The nice man warned me some of it was junk (he didn't really say it like that, he was so polite)! And wouldn't get much, but Brother and I have stored it for so long, didn't just 'bin it' according to Mums wishes, that we don't mind what we get, just that someone pays something for it!
