Deep In Thought

I had to start the relay off today. Here I am waiting to be given the go ahead to take the plunge. It was bitter cold so wore a wetsuit as I was going in for a longer stint. I had to jump off the boat, swim to shore, wait for the off, then off I went.
I had three swims in all. Today I realised what a great group of guys I'm doing this challenge with. It was a huge team effort. From helping back on to boat after swim, getting dry clothes ready, getting you out of your wet clothes, making hot chocolate, just generally looking after each other.
I felt quite sick after a while but still manage all my swims. I need more boat practice for sure.
Everyone swam brilliantly. So proud of my team mates today. A great effort.
