Indomitable

Did I mention this before? Dan has a tooth that didn't grow down in the right direction. He had a minor operation to expose it - it was flat against and inside of the roof of his mouth - and then a Heath Robinson arrangement fitted to pull it down.

Every three weeks or so, he goes into Lancaster Royal Infirmary so they can give it a crank, and today was one of those sessions. Despite enduring people prodding around in his mouth and the discomfort involved, he's always chipper, chatting away to the consultant and nurses. There's so much we can learn from our kids.
