Backblip -ROCKCLIFFE

Our friends took us for a tour of "the other side" of the Solway.  As an exCumbrian we often looked at this view from the English side!  We stopped at Sweetheart Abbey (an ancient ruin of what must have been a magnificent building in bygone years), Rockcliffe and Kippford where the camellias were almost finished flowering!.  Another beautiful sunny day but unfortunately the mist clouded our view of the English hills.  It didn't spoil our enjoyment of another  lovely day.  We were sad to leave but have promised to return before too long!
