Mad as a hatter

Today is my little sisters birthday, so we tootled off to the Richmond Tea Rooms for a lunchtime treat, with our friend as well.
This blip is looking through to their 1940s themed room, whilst their Mad Hatters Tea Party Room is off to the right and was where we were seated today. When LoveLupins17 came to town recently we sat at the table you can see at the end of the corridor below the window :-)

Today started grey and damp, but ended bright and blue :-) First call, sis's to drop off her pressie and card, then we went to pick up our friend, who joined us for lunch. A Hatters Afternoon Tea for us, Chicken Club for sis, lovely as ever. Another city centre car park rip off, 2 hours £7!

We dropped Pauline off at home, then back to Sis's to let Bailey dog out, it was then that I realised id left my glasses case in the foyer at the tearooms whilst taking photos!! A quick call, yes they had it, I will pick it up next week.. what a dope, then a quick supermarket visit, picked up easter eggs for our grand daughters whilst there, one job less for later ;-) back for a quick brew before heading home.
A busy trip back, so called hub en route to let him know I was on my way.....it seems both sis and he had been ringing me, but my phone hadnt connected to the car......anyhow, it seems Ive left my glasses on the table at sis's....what am I like......mad as a hatter it would seem ;-) Its a good job ive got a spare pair at home!!!

A couple of extras.......one of sis, with her sis in the mirror ;-) and some rabbits on the counter in the Hatters Room :-)
