Drumming!

The relative quiet, peace and decorum of Mahon city centre, was shattered at mid-day when a 'Drumming competition ' was held on the steps of the church!
It was a lively exciting place to be.....as several teams of young men and women .......played in a good natured competition.....while their supporters and the public, clapped, cheered, danced and generally made merry!
To show their high spirits, the finale was a "massed bands number"......when all the competitors came together and played together!
Great Fun!
You couldn't miss this event If you were within half a mile of the City Centre!!.....it was deafening!!
