Trotting

This afternoon, we attended the first race meeting of the 2017 season, at Menorca's Hipòdrom Torre del Ram.......there were 5 Trotting Races......with up to 12 horses in each Race.

A lovely sunny, relaxed, afternoon, .....spectators cheering and clapping, .....cups of coffee and glasses of beer being enjoyed, ........children playing on the swings, .......flags fluttering.......and clearly visible on the horizon, the island of Mallorca.

This wasn't Royal Ascot.....no ladies were wearing hats!.......
But it was gentle fun.......and a 'first' for us!
