Street Cleaner

This is a common sight on the streets of Mexico City. I think these people just do the job for the uniform - such tasteful colours.

Today was our last day but, as our flight was in the evening, we had the whole day to catch a few more of the sights. One place we visited was an art museum with lots of artists depicting the revolution - not to our taste but different. Architecturally, the building is in is of the Art Deco style, that in itself is interesting.

We then spent the rest of our time at an archaeological site right in the centre, where the pyramid style of temple has been discovered. The site is quite extensive and there is an excellent museum housing all the artefacts that were found.

We got to the airport with plenty of time to find the flight would be late leaving as they had been delayed by traffic in Mexico City getting from their hotel! We were all there.... Same traffic! Not very late leaving though.
