As The Sun Goes Down

SWMBO, Bags and I headed through to Glasgow this morning for the memorial service for Jim - our old neighbour.
It was a Salvation Army service - his family is heavily involved - and was probably the most moving service I have ever attended.
His daughter and grandkids was super talkers and one of the boys played a super medley of his grandfather's favourite tunes on the piano. Boy did he take his pent up emotions on that keyboard to good effect.
Talking to his daughter afterwards I told her that there was a connection between Jim and my Dad when listening to their eulogies ...... everybody described them as humble, gentle, gentlemen.
I am about to raise a glass to them both.

Before I saw the colour in the sky I had taken some cat shots, lots of hungry, lazy cats.
