A relegation match which was a must win for Malton and Norton 1st XV versus Guisborough. After conceding an early interception try they settled to their task with a superior back line.

Youngest son Thomas was on the wing and scored one of several tries in the 45 to 12 victory. Unfortunately I missed the try as I had moved to watch middle son Matthew playing for the 2nd XV against Hull which also resulted in a comfortable victory.
