Rhododendron

I realised I hadn't taken a photo today so I nipped outside to photograph my rhody. This chap wanted his photo taken too, but was shy and wouldn't show me his face no matter what side of him I stood.

So a bumble bee bum it is today - not covered in pollen but not a bad start to his harvesting year. I look forward to when the daisies are flowering and the bees end up with their 'saddlebags' full of bright orange pollen instead of this very pale stuff they're carrying at the moment.
