Keyhole on Pelorus

Well, our long weekend break from work is over and we had to head home this morning. We came through Pelorus River so stopped for a quick photo opportunity. Kiwilizzie headed for the bridge but I braved the waterlogged path to the river so that we would have different perspectives.

Walking down the path through the native bush, this is the first sighting of the water. The sky was grey and it was raining, but the colour of the river was a gorgeous contrast.

I've come home with some sort of bug so instead of catching up on some work, like I should, I'm off to bed for a wee afternoon nap to see if that'll make me feel a bit perkier.
