Walkies

A short walk on the Yorkshire Moors from the Hole of Horcum. We heard the hounds being called to the horn as they were being exercised on the moors. Some had disappeared into the Newton Dale valley and were being urged to join the main pack. The valley is just to the left of the riders.

Jet was unconcerned as one of the hounds decided he needed a wash. As we turned back to the car a straggler emerged from the valley. Fortunately it picked up the scent of the pack and raced up the hill to rejoin them.

That was all I could manage as the shoulder started to complain and we headed back to the car.
