Wintry

Today’s event was based in Holyrood and Meadowfields Parks which contains Arthur’s Seat. Another cold night meant more encounters with ice on the streets as we walked to the start. The main paths up to Arthur’s Seat were also treacherous. Not a day for a fast time as survival was higher on my priorities.

By the time I had finished I had completed nearly 350m of climb. It was starting to snow as I finished and this was the scene as I walked back to the hotel.

Rather glad of a hot bath and warm drink!
