Hedging

It may seem unlikely but this was the summery scene at my allotment today!  The sun was out briefly and it was a mild 6 degrees.  I spent the morning planting a hedge along one side of my plot (see extras).  The bare root plants were hawthorn and blackthorn. It was exhilarating to be in the fresh air.  Such a shame it is forecast to rain heavily tomorrow.
