Hokitika Poo Ponds

Driving in to Hokitika tonight we couldn't resist stopping to take photos of the sunset as it reflected on the poo ponds (sewage treatment ponds). As you can see, typical for here in the evening, it was raining.

We've come down to stay with my parents tonight so that we can head off over Arthur's Pass tomorrow on a mission to photograph keas. There had better be some there or I will sulk! And that's not something anyone wants to be too close to.
