Pelorus Sound

We took a drive into Havelock this morning - a walk, a coffee and a few groceries were called for. This is taken looking up the Sound from the lookout above Havelock. unusual sky this morning.

When we got back to our holiday house we took a walk along the Mahakipawa Arm of the Sound - then back home for a lunch and an afternoon photographing kingfishers and bellbirds from our dining room window.
