Picton

We've had a great day today. A slow start spent watching lambs gambolling in the paddock right in front of the verandah of the house we're staying in and listening to the bellbirds and tuis. Then a drive to Anakiwa in Queen Charlotte Sound and a walk around to Davis Bay - a pleasant 6km walk. From there we headed around to Picton for a late lunch.

The walk and drive around the Sound is just superb. A gasp at the beauty presented around every corner, sort of trip. Gorgeous weather today too - though what they're predicting for tomorrow isn't as nice.
