Russell, Bay of Islands

After a lovely drive here from Ruakaka yesterday, we pitched up (8 mins) and headed off to meet Bryn and Sue-friends of friends, for a meal of fish and chips at the Duke of Marlborough Hotel. This is apparently the oldest European settlement in NZ and lovely it is too.

Company good also-invited for coffee at their bach tomorrow before the girls go surfing.
