Barbecue at Bend

What a difference an hour in a jet plane can make.
Here we are in Bend Oregon where it’s minus 15 C and there is sno everywhere.
Our plane landed happily in conditions that would have not worked well in NZ and we noted that the runway was actually grooved no doubt to deal with winter conditions. 
So our friends had a BBQ. Well The Bloke cooked lovely lamburgers outside as we admired the view from inside.

The extra today is “Archer”  He was about to fly to New York sitting on either  the lap of his owner of under “The seat in front”…Yes dogs fly in the USA .. We also met “Latte” another pooch who was going to Palm Springs the same way. The Boss can’t imagine this working with big T and anyway it can’t.
Small stuffed dogs have never been a problem.
