Egyptian Goose
After a frustrating day in the office (I was locked out of the wages programme 23 times in just under two hours), I decided a walk at Lackford Lakes near Bury St Edmunds would cool me off.
I spotted these Egyptian Geese from one of the hides, don't know if it's a courtship dance but whatever it was it was very entertaining. I've put another in the extras.
Egyptian Geese were sacred to the Egyptians and were often featured on their art work. They were brought to England as an ornamental species and over time some escaped into the wild, hence there are some now living at the Suffolk Wildlife Trust site at Lackford Lakes. According to Wikipedia they are restricted to Eastern England.
