Taking to the Water....

Maisie had already been wading in the river as can be seen by her wet legs. It is just about impossible to keep her out of the river. It was chilly today... a big contrast to yesterday's heat and strong nor-west winds.
Mei and Duncan headed home to Nelson this morning. Duncan took a big chunk of Christmas cake with him. I am going to have to make a second Christmas cake to take us through the rest of the holidays! I will be giving Mei my Christmas cake recipe.
